Courtney Koch was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Florida in December 2006 and she went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in December 2010.

While attending law school, Courtney worked in Stetson’s Research and Writing Department and spent a summer interning for the Probate and Guardianship division of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Pinellas County.  She was also a recipient of the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.

Courtney is a member of the Florida Bar, the Clearwater Bar Association, and the Clearwater Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.  Courtney is a member of the Canakaris Inn of Court and serves on the Inn’s Board.

Courtney is a lifelong resident of Clearwater and feels passionately about serving her community.  She has volunteered her time with several local organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Homeless Emergency Project, and Stetson’s Academic Success Program and Bar Examination Preparation Workshop.

In Courtney’s spare time she enjoys all things fitness related, standup paddle boarding, cheering for her beloved Florida Gators, and spending time with her friends and family.
