Kristin L. Tormey has been working as a family law paralegal since 2011. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from St. Petersburg College in 2014 and became a NALA Certified Paralegal in 2017. Kristin is also a Florida Registered Paralegal. She is an active member of the Paralegal Association of Florida where she previously served as the Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Chapter for two terms. She has been appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to the Unlicensed Practice of Law, Committee A and to the Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee to serve 3-year terms on each committee. Kristin has also been working with her firm on implementing new marketing ideas. She is the social media manager for the firm, creates videos, graphics and manages the firm’s website and social media pages. In addition to her job, Kristin spends some of her free time helping others. She is a volunteer with Lawyers for Literacy where she assists students to increase their reading skills and volunteers with a local animal shelter. Kristin writes a blog reflecting her life experience, both personal and in the legal field. She loves to read, write, kayak, exercise her Australian Shepherds, and explore new places.
